Where do you guys get your Fin?

I went to dermatologist...who was quite unhelpful. But he did give me prescription for propecia, but it ws bit pricy. I asked him about generics, but he said that generics and different dosages were not approved to help hair loss. However, after reading online, I now think he was wrong.

Does everyone here have a prescription for propecia? If not, where do you guys get your Fin at?

Yup he is, I used to buy my propecia at walgreens for 80 dollars. I'm now on Proscar and I buy it here (http://www.inhousepharmacy.biz/p-425-proscar-5mg.aspx)

Many men get a script for the 5mg generic Finasteride and then cut the pills onto four pieces. This is a significant cost savings. I have spoken to some men who only take one piece every other day rather than every day. They tell me that they feel every other day is helping just as well as taking it every day helped them.

Ask your doctor to re-write the script for generic 5mg Finasteride. If that doctor will not do it, ask another doctor.

Solid thread - I was going to be asking the same thing in less than a month. I think I'll be asking for 5mg pills from my derm (who is really chill) and cutting them myself. Another member said he gets month scripts for $4. Cut the pills and they're damn near free!!!
