sudden hair loss and questions
Hey guys
My story:
I started noticing a hair issue while experiencing a host of other symptoms (fatigue, dry skin, thinning hair all over, shedding of hair all over, weight gain, brittle nails, and consistently cold hands and feet). So as any doctor who sees these symptoms would do, he ordered a TSH test which came back perfectly normal. So despite these symptoms, I realized I had also taken a bunch of saw palmetto. Then one of my blood tests came back with a vitamin D deficiency. So my doctor thinks it's some issue other than MPB but I've decided I'd rather accept that it may be MPB than hope it's something else entirely. I was curious to know others thoughts.

from what I know about thyroid, TSH test is not always reliable. The one test that works 100% of the time AND can be done at home is the body temperature test. If it's below 98F or something, you got thyroid issues.
