Sorry didn't know that was you, I appreciate the effort in helping me. But stop being so depressive, seriously.

I understand the strive for aesthetics, but such a narrow minded, rigid viewpoint negates other factors involved.

Honestly feel that shaving your head is the only way to 'defeat' the mental impact of hairloss.

From that point on you no longer have to worry about how your hair will be in a year/5 years time. No more drugs, dodgy transplants or snake oil.

Only thing thats stopping my is the initial 'slaphead' comments I'll get from people I know.

Any drastic change in appearance will be inevitable. Im in the process of manning up to buzz, which in a few years will involve shaving.

HOWEVER, I guess at that point you wanna feel psychologically ready and not out of sheer panic (unless you are forced too given some external circumstances).

But I agree, it will be a game changer.

I was a bit inspired today when I saw the Sales Manager in the canteen today. Must be only in his mid-30s, but a NW5 or 6 with completely shaved sides. Nonetheless he dominated the room, with constant laughter from the 4 girls sat on the same table as him.

At the end of the day, men are attractive when they're confident, assertive and charismatic. With a healthy body and a shaved head, there's no reason why anyone on here cant pull it off. OK you will never be able to attract girls sitting pretty with a full head of hair and not much else, but neither can 99% of men.

I've looked on some of the bodybuilding forums where they discuss baldness with a more manly touch then here.

They seem ok with a worked out body and a manly attitude towards it.

It probably doesn't help when many bald men I see look large, old or just unfit. That's uninspiring really...

When you get the slaphead comments don't take them as something negative take them as people embracing the new you, take the comments on the chin they wont last, people will soon find something else to focus upon other than your shaved head. You'll wish you'd done it sooner once you do it.

There's no positive aspects at all. The things you listed are laziness and just false. Sorry, no offense.
