    Default Ramatroban - anybody?

    Anybody heard of Ramatroban?

My doc mentioned this to me. He also said he wouldnt touch RU for me yet - goes against doctor ethics.

Ramatroban is a German drug which inhabits PGD2. It is only released in Japan where it is used to treat hayfever. Knowing how people are I would have expected us to all hear if it had amazing results on hair growth. Works better than cetirizine for sure.

IIRC, some experimenters were (are?) planning to try it as an alternative to OC000459, but whether that ever lead to anything, I have no idea. Pretty much all dabbling in 'experimental' treatments never leads to anything, unfortunately.

Is this worth adding in the regimen? I saw that Iron-Dragon are selling it.

Depends if the substance is real, and the dosage and vehicle are correct for hair loss. There is also the issue of whether or not the substance is too large to penetrate the scalp. There's a reason this stuff goes through clinical trials.

Thanks for the answer! I didn't think about that

Any updates for Ram users? I'm debating on whether to go with Ram or Indo/Chromo, which seems more proven in the forums. However, Ram is supposed to be more effective. It seems like a lot of guys are using all three in conjunction with Minox, that's probably ideal. But I'm just looking for some confirmation on whether Ram alone will stop loss and allow Minox to do its job better...

I haven't tried either yet, but I have done a lot of research on them through numerous forums...and I see they both seem to be working well for practically everyone who has tried them.

I'm going to jump on them if RU stops working.
