Modifying Body Hair to look like head hair for transplantation

There is currently a lot of research going on Hair Cloning and other procedures to cure baldness, but seems like there still a long way to go for that to work successfully.

I was wondering why don't someone research on how to modify body hair, hair from chest and legs for example, so that they grow as long as head hair and less kinky like it. It seems logical that modifying hair must be easier than creating a new one. And if someone does it successfully, than almost every man has enough body hair to fully cover up a bald head.

I dunno man, I reckon that would be pretty complicated. Probably as complex if not more than trying to solve baldness...

Not to mention cost, effort and all else related to it. Perhaps Pubic Hair could be explored...
