Second Hair Transplant over using Propecia?
All,
I am a 29 yr old male, with a NW6 hair loss. I had a hair transplant (3922 grafts) on the front section of my head a year ago. The front has come in pretty good. I say pretty good because I do wish it was a bit thicker, but I'll take what I can and have come a LONG way from where I was a year ago.
The only "mediciation" I use right now is Minoxidal twice a day in the crown area. I think this has helped a bit, but there is a NOTICABLE difference between my recipient area of the HT and my crown.
As many of you on this forum are, I'm really nervous about even trying Propecia. I'm considering just getting another Hair Transplant to provide coverage for my crown area. I definately have enough laxity and hair for it. Just wanted to get the forums thoughts. I realize my hair line could further recede down on the sides and in the back, but I guess I will kick that can down the road. I figure I have a few years for that, and by that time I'll have kids, etc.
Anyone else pass on Propecia for Hair Transplants?

get someone that will use your beard hair to do the crown area , so you can keep your hair donor assuming you got good bit of beard hair ?
