Am I thinning or am I imaginating things?

I've been worried about this for a while now, my mind often works that if I think somethings happening it takes alot to convince me otherwise. As it took a trip to the doctors to tell me i wasn't going bald two years ago.
Anyway...I'm 18 and think my crown is thinning, my dad is bald and the gene runs on my fathers side but not on my mothers, her dad is 75 with a pretty much full head of hair!
I know i have fine blondish hair which may make it look thinner, in some lights it looks fine and others looks worse. Any thoughts or potential reassurance would be much appreciated
    thanks!

Personally I think you are fine as that looks like a normal crown to me. If you are really concerned then take another picture in the exact same conditions (hair style, length, lighting, time of day, place, etc) in a few months as a means of comparison. Alternatively, locate a reputable Dr from the IAHRS to get an assessment. Certainly don't panic yet though!

Does not look like much thinning. However, sometime photos can be tricky. They often do not show decreases in volume unless there has been significant hair loss. The cowlick (swirl) in patients with darker hair and lighter skin often tends to look like thinning.

What about a line down the back of the head like this. Does that look like TE or MPB?
