Spencer???? Question

I have been on Proscar for 14years. Has worked wonders for maint...I am a nw 2 hair line crown ok. More of a diffuse thinner over whole head. I upped my dosage in 03 when I hit a wall and lost ground, now at 5mg. Seems to have lost its effect. Thinking of adding .05 Avodart Sun & Wed to the plan. Stay with the proscar except those days.
I'm 40yrs old.

What do you think, have you ever heard of this working. I know your not a doctor just wondering what you have witnessed regarding this.

Sorry for the delayed response. To be honest, I’ve never been in contact with anyone whose added Avodart intermittently while on Proscar. I have, however, heard of guys doing well with Advodart after hitting a plateau on Proscar.

I’m still taking 5mg of Proscar.

Doesn't the science back up taking .5 2x's a week since Avodart has such a long life?

I mean once you take the first dosage you get a drop in DHT that should remain for 28days unless you keep taking it. I figure taking it twice a week should keep my levels low. If I get a good response then maybe I will come off the proscar. I Don't want to risk losing the proscar results like I have read.

That is my thinking why I'm trying it. I just don't think increasing my proscar up anymore from 5mg a day is going to do anymore at this point.
