All the best chrisis. For how long you gonna stop minox pre op ? And are you gonna continue using it post op ?

Dr Representative
All the best Chris, we have spoken privately over the last year and im confident you have certainly chosen the right surgeon for you, well done.
Its recommended to stop minox 7-10 days prior and you can start back up 7-10 after.

Thanks! My last dose was on Sunday night and will probably start it up a week after depending how I feel. I'm not going to rush it if it feels sore.

Thanks Spex! Yeah, due to the short hair styles I go for, FUE was the best route for me personally, and Dr Feriduni is in the right location and priced within budget. The Goldilocks of doctors, you might say
Thanks for your help.

When are you having this done, it's soon isn't it?
Can't wait to see how it turns out, good luck!

I believe the hairline is of huge importance, therefore I'm looking for some feedback about what design I should go for. I'd also like to know what anyone else has done in advance of their hair transplant, in terms of preparing to discuss with the doctor their exact requirements. Did you go with a hairline design in mind? Perhaps a mock up of your own, or photos of guys with hairlines you liked?
Here is a photo* of the design my doctor has recommended:
The brown line is a conservative approach, and the orange line is more ambitious. The red line illustrates the entire treated area. I've opted for the orange, which will require approximately 2,600 grafts.
*taken when minoxidil had ravished my hairline - it's actually a lot thicker now. That may impact on how many grafts I need, but I'll wait until I see the doctor in February.
Your hair looks great. Wonder why you are going for a transplant!

Uhm, probably because he doesn't want to have the receding hairline look and has thick enough hair that it's unlikely he'll lose too much more?

Two sessions on Monday and Tuesday of next week

Exactly this. Many people will be shocked I'm doing this, but hair means a lot to my appearance and only I experience the daily anxieties that come with styling it and worrying about weather conditions.
