Yeah bro, you have my hairline (or I, yours, rather. I'm 24) I've taken two blood tests now, which didn't diagnose MPB, but eliminated other possible culprits. I do live in the US however where, even with insurance, I've still dropped close to $175 on two blood tests, seeing a GP, seeing a derm. I'm thinking that will be less of an issue with you, seeings as you live in the UK. [hate not having universal coverage]

I'll just echo what these gentlemen have said, you'll want to consider some combination of the big 3. Spend a little time learning what each is meant to do and what the possible side effects ( as well as rates of sides) are.

Oh, and don't stress too much. You caught it early on. If you have any luck with treatments, you may be able to ride the hair train until you're old enough not to give a flip.

Yeah that must suck having to pay out just to have a blood test! I'm gonna have a good read over the weekend and see what's best for me.

I wouldn't mind if I was a beefcake, I'd happily shave my head, but with my build I'll look like I'm recovering from an illness if I go bald!

The nice thing is that you're catching this relatively early--you're probably a NW2 (look up the Norwood scale if you haven't already). Because hair loss is so incremental, many guys don't really confront it until they've experienced significant loss. Young guys tend to turn a blind eye to it as well, because they just don't think about it and figure it won't happen to them.

Read lots, figure out what's comfortable for you, and act accordingly. The Big 3 aren't a panacea, but they can really help, depending upon how well you respond to them.

Thanks for the reply, I'm starting to feel a bit better about it now. At least I know there's options out there other than spending thousands of pounds on a hair transplant!
