Don't worry, Spex. Highlander is just an unstable religious zealot who uses Catholicism as a mental crutch. Counter-intuitively, he is also racist, among other things. Effectively, he disregards most of his religion's teachings and spews hateful propaganda. What's funny is he can't even see the contradictions between what he practices and preaches.
