Vitamin D defecciancy - reflux meds
Hey guys, I've always had a touch of MPB since I was 24. Started to recede very slightly hen, but still had very very thick hair. I'm now 40 and a NW 2 thinning to a 3. My hair loss has always been very slow, but seems to have accelerated somewhat over the past few years. Although, it's possible the rate is still the same, but just at that critical density you can start to through it.
Anyway, I have been taking pariot for chronic acid reflux for about 3 years now. I have done some research and these medications can greatly inhibit absorption of vitamin D - which is essential for hair growth. I am now wondering if this has exacerbated my MPB.
I am planning on taking a vtimamin D supplement to add to my "vitamin P" regime.
Any thoughts? Any one else here take a PPI and feel like its created more hair loss?

Hopefully by taking a vitamin D supplement you will be able to reverse or at least stop the hair loss if in fact a vitamin deficiency has had anything to do with your thinning.
