Default So are laser combs any good?

Or just another scam? Never really see them being discussed.

Probably because they do squat for genetic hair loss. If your hair loss is for some other reason it probably stimulates sufficient to grow the hair back faster then it normally would.

They are not a scam. I started with only the laser comb for the first six months of treating my hair loss starting back in November of 2007. This was on a recommendation from my primary care doctor at the time. I still use my laser comb to this day. If I didn't feel it was helping, I would not bother to continue using it. I do need to say that I now believe they probably work better for women and possibly diffuse thinners. This is based on my personal experience and an observation of more positive feedback from women who use it than from men who tried it.

I simply cannot agree with that - but you are neither a woman or a diffuse thinner.

There is a lack of evidence for its' effectiveness, even in women.

I posted a thread a few months back here asking about the laser comb and decided to finally just buy one from amazon and try it out. Well I've used it for about four months and I will say it is not 100% BS. While it will not give results like that of minoxidil I does do something for your hair health and quality. My aunt who had not seen me in a few years recently commented at a wedding this October that my hair looked darker than it used to. I have also slightly noticed this. My strands of hair seem a little thicker and darker. I also stopped using the laser comb for about three weeks because I moved and became very busy and after the third week noticed my hair become a little finer and lighter and a minor increase in shedding. Since then I've gone back to using it and my hair is beginning to improve in quality again.

Basically what I'm trying to prove is that for men at least, the laser comb will be a minor help for decreasing shedding, do very little to nothing for regrowth, but will help the quality, health and fullness of your hair. This does sound like what you would see on a conditioner bottle but I do feel the laser comb is worth adding to your regimen if you don't mind spending the time using it.

Not really, but if you refuse to see it you won't see it.

Let me remind you that my sister and I both actually use it - and have used it for several years. We know what it does by now.
