Finasteride and acne
Hey guys, I posted here a few months back on my finasteride experience. Right now I am taking about 1/4 of a mg per every 5-6 days. I have seen significant improvement in my hair, although i needed to up my dosage to keep the results coming.
Since I have upped the dosage, i have noticed my acne has gotten worse. I am getting blemishes and pimples on my cheeks where I used to get it when I was teenager. I am 23 now and I went on a dose of accutane at 19 to get of the pimples. The results were amazing and my skin was clear until i started this treatment.
Any suggestions on what to do about the acne? Has anyone else had a similar experience? Finasteride really messes with some hormone components in your body and I know others have had a similar experience. I am just curious if anyone had a way offsetting the acne with vitamins perhaps?

What type of acne are you getting?
23 here, also having the same experience has you are when i went up to 1.25mg of fin.
Best advice I can give you is
Get on retin-A
drink 8 glasses of water(3.2 water bottles)
Was your face 3 times a day with acne treatment. Try using baking soda mask once a week.
When you shave/trim put a warm/hot towel over your face.
If you have pimples do NOT pop them, they will leave nasty acne scar in your face.
Don't touch your face and make sure you change your pillow sheds frequently.
