Default Early Beginnings or Mature Hairline? Advice.

    Hey guys,

Just need some advice. 26 year old male.

I never really thought about balding. My dad is 60 and still has thick brown hair. I know it doesn't necessarily follow that, for example my mom's dad was as bald as a goose. But growing up I've always had thick hair (and still do).

Recently, I got my hair cut too short and the chick cutting my hair made some comment like "yeah it's better to cut it short on the sides when your hairline starts to recede". And then I started to notice. What do you guys think? Early stages or maturing hairline?

Anyway, took some pics. I am FINE with how the hair is now, but I don't want to wake up in 5 years and say oh shit. Seems like the consensus is to get a start on it early to prevent further loss. I am thinking of consulting a hair doctor - can anyone tell me how to find one? I am in Vancouver, Canada.

You need to show more than just your hair line in your pics. The hairline itself is not a good indicator of MPB. You need to show pics of your vertex and mid-anterior areas, preferably with your hair wet and parted in the middle.

    Might stop there, might not.

    Only time will tell.

Luckily for you, better treatments will be out in a few years, and I can't see you being signicantly bald anytime soon.
