Default New growth 4 months post op

Im excited to say that my newly transplanted hair is coming in!I wasn't expecting it at only four months, and its apparent that I have a long way to go to gain thickness(maybe another procedure in a year or two)but its great to see and feel an actual hairline developing!Much of the numbness in my crown has subsided too,and Ive found that I can shave down to a number two and still see no evidence of a scar.I only wish the new photos posted in my profile came out better. The camera didnt pick up the miniature hairs coming up,partly because of my light colored hair.FYI, I never used Propecia, Rogain or anything else during this time. Thank you everyone for your support in this group. Its all good from here on out!

You may want to try using less background lighting. The light from the flash is usually enough and most of the time good at picking up the smaller hairs. Also, try different colored backgrounds. Glad to see you are already getting results. It is definitely the first 3-4 months that are the hardest because nothing happens. You will most likely see continued improvement for the next 6 months. Good luck.

Thank you Dr. Charles and Spencer. My wife and I tried several differant settings to get the right close up image, we tried no background lighting, but the flash caused a glare on my head,so we tried filtered window background light, and no flash, but the image came up blury like it wasnt focused, even when we did manual focusing.I tried the room overhead light also, and I didnt get right under it,but I was still getting that shiny head glare image, because of how sparse my hair still is overall on top.
I have to hand it to my wife, she IS very patient, but we have tried to take photos in the same location and as similar to my originals as possible.
