22 year old losing hair - need some advice please

I have quite severe frontal balding in the temple area, and some thinning on top which isn't very noticeable unless my hair is wet and spiking up. My hairline is kind of like Woody Harrelson's with the patch at the front remaining.

My question is what's the best course of action for me at this point in my life? I've read that you should wait until at least 25 to get a transplant, but is there anything I should be doing in the meantime? If I got one at 25, what's the chance that my future hairloss is taken into account accurately? How can they know for sure?

Do you recommend Rogaine? I've heard mixed opinions about it. I just want to know what you think my routine should be, including medications and thinking about future transplants.

    Cheers

It sounds like finasteride and minoxidil are the best course of action for you..

See how that goes and then maybe consider a transplant if youre not happy
