Got my fin today...but problem with dosing.

Got good news and bad news. I got my fin today which is the good news, but the bad news is - the pills are in capsule form. The pharmacy where I filled my Rx compounds the 5mg fin. Meaning they crush the tablets and fill the tablets into 1mg pre-measured capsules. I'm sure you're asking what's the big deal - now I have to start with 1mg fin compared to the 0.5mg fin.

    What do you guys suggest?

Go tony montana on it, bruhhhh. Get a mirror and a razer blade and snort half a capsule in line form. Haha, just playing.

Now to be constructive: It's not very difficult to create your own capsules. You'll need a scale that handles the appropriate mg's, capsules, and the lab tools to fill them. Google it

I'm going to just take the 1mg pill. Unfortunately, can't devout a few hours in doing what you recommended. If this was January of next year, sure, but timing isn't right at the moment.

Any last minute recommendations? Adding fin with Niz2%/TSal, Minox 5% foam, and Biotin 10,000mg/day.

Let us know how it goes, try to take "before" pics if you can too. I see a derm in 1 week, and will hopefully be tapering onto fin.

Question though: How did you get fin? On-line, prescription? I'm already thinking about the steps I'm going to take if the derm doesn't prescribe me, especially if they say it's for sure MPB.

Nope, just got a prescrip from my general GP and that was it. However, once I get the fin connection networking lined up with the Finpecia, I'll go solely with Finpecia.

You shouldn't have any issues. I recall when I first went to a derm to talk about my acne, I brought up my hair issue. He up front asked if I'd like to try propecia.

If you want you could start of with 1mg every other day.

Just try it out, very minimal difference between 1mg and 0.5mg. You see any major side affects that dont pass after a few days/week than go down in dosage or get off of it.
