Well, you definitely have a point - technically, but my point is that Dr Gho would have to be lying IF there is no hair regeneration - and if a Dr could lie about that would you really trust your head in his hands ?

Ive had 2000 grafts fue and will likely do my next ht with gho. From my perspective I have no idea about donar regrowth; what I do know is that a ht is undetectable with gho, even with a shaved head. Price wise is comparable to european fue and cheaper than american fue, so worst case scenario you end up with an undetectable transplant regrowth or not...

That would be my advice if anyone ever goes for a transplant. (fue being the next best option; mine is undetectable at a grade 1 buzz)

Why is that btw? (that American fue are more expensive on average?)

No idea; Probably because they are more of a name brand. I think that whole hairtransplant recommended doctor thing helps allow them boosts prices aswell.

At the end of the day though my FUE was 5000 euros with a belgian doc where I would have been paying $15,000 plus w/an american doctor.

I think alot of the American docs are great, but their work isn't better than some of the european docs who are more than half the cost.

Wow, that's much cheaper - even considering airfare. Maybe the difference is insurance costs?

The doctor placed all the grafts himself where I went which reduces the cost alot. Most clinics have numerous staff placing grafts which increases the cost. I'm not sure if their are higher insurance costs in the US though, because it seems all European FUE specialists are cheaper.

Regarding Gho, he's more expensive than the place I went to but still cheaper than American FUE -- I guess from my perspective if you take the whole 'donor regrowth' out of it, the option still beats regular FUE because theres is zero scarring.

The thing that puzzles me about GHO is that I've emailed them regarding the procedure and have been guaranteed 85% donor site regrowth. Surely they would be liable for some pretty serious legal repercussions if that proved to be false.

    85% guaranteed. Impressive.

Great that this thread is still going on I havent been able to continue checking the site due to work but I appreciate the discussion. I'm still considering whether or not to undergo the procedure with Dr Gho's clinic BUT I think I'm going to take the leap either sometime late this winter or over the summer. I think he offers the best price/procedure at the moment so I'm fairly confident in my decision. If all else fails, I guess I`ll have to save up some money and head over to Dr. Cole in a couple of years, but hopefully Dr. Gho is the real deal.
