Second shed phase on finasteride in first year?
I've been on fin since January. Had a HUGE shed a few weeks in that never reversed, now since the end of September I'm shedding again, but less aggressively. Anyone else had this and 'survived' with positive results eventually?

same thing goin on with me
hey, im going through same thing. After four months on finasteride, my hair stopped shedding completely. After four months of no loss, the itching and shedding resumed around the first of october. Plus my balls stopped hurting, (only side I had on drug) so im thinking my body adapted to med. I wonder if I stopped using for a month or two and started again if it would work. Maybe we should try dutasteride? keep me posted on what happens with you.

Same thing ... Fin if anything maintained, and now, at the 11th month mark, for the past 2 weeks, my hair's shed probably next to 50% of what i have on top. It's actually see through, and even more so in the crown area, and my left temple has receded further.
I am seeing my dermatologist tomorrow to get a prescription for Dut.

Hey Kirby, if you get a moment I would be interested to here what happened with this situation. Did the shed stop? Mine still hasn't and its been continuous since October of 2012. I tried switching from from fin to avodart with no effect.

Hey Aristotle, did the dutasteride help you out? I tried using it in place of fin due to a huge shed but unfortunaltey it did not work for me. As a matter of fact, I have not been able to get the shed to stop at all with any method.
