recipient area itch 2 weeks after HT

its been 2 weeks since my HT and all is going well ,dont think i lost a single hair as yet . But for the last couple of days i seem to have a slight itch in the recipient area .

People that are loosing hair always mention about an itchy scalp.
Also I remember people reporting shock loss starting from the 2 nd week ending around week 4 .

Now putting all these together am i right ,thinking this is the itch from DHT attacking the transplanted hair follicles which will end with the shock loss ?

    don't worry
the grafts are supposed to fall out
so the process of growth can begin

shockloss refers to loss of native hair affected by the trauma of the procedure
    not the transplanted hair

All normal. All the little nerve endings are connecting and establishing themselves. Itchy is good.

thanks for the replies guys .

Its been over 2 weeks since my HT , do you think i am allowed to wash my hair a little harsher now ?
Also noticed a few of the planted hairs coming off during a wash .
Is this normal thing to happen ?

Yes Vinny, what you are experiencing is normal. The itching is simply a sign of healing of your epidermis.

And if you are a good healer, the crusts are ready to come off as you are noticing at this point in time post-op.
