Look at my join date. At that time we were already sure the cure was around the corner.

Histogen will be available in asia in 2015. Spread the optimism.
Dr. Ziering stated 2-3 years it will be available in Asia...and just before he stated this he said he isn't in the business of being overly optimistic and giving people false hope.

So, I think it is safe to say that we will see histogen in Asia by the end of 2015 AT THE LATEST.

    Seriously.

Time goes way faster if you stopped logging onto the forums.

2010 - 2012 was such a blur for me when it came to HL forums.

Gene therapy is not coming in your lifetime nor would you really need it. The actual cure for MPB is to remove all androgen receptors from your scalp and the exact same thing has already been done in some experiments with people with prostate issues. They just don't get it...
If that would actually be doable with a little research I propose we put the project idea up on kickstarter and find some doctors or scientists that's interested.

It just seems like such an easy thing to do, there has to be some reason it's not available as a treatment other than patent issues.

holy sheet! Thats a great idea, getting the funds on kickstarter! We would need to find some knowledgable scientists interested in the idea but its doable!

Wow that is the best advice anyone's ever given me!

I really should read this book...and its so true. A cure will be coming but if we put everything on hold till we get our hair back, we might be too old to do most of the things you should be doing in your 20s and then everyone will be giving these weird looks when ur trying to relive ur 20's!

Hit the gym guys and build up your confidence!

I also agree. I've got really thin hair but I brush it back and it looks quite cool and sophisticated.

Its not as awesome as a mature hairline would be and its going to keep thinning but I know at some point soon there will be options.

I look at some awesomely famous actors like this guy. He's the man!!! I don't think I look as good as him but as a guy with an FUT scar I need to see images like this!!!

Hey all, I've not posted in a few months and just looked on the forums and there is a lot going on and loads of new post, quite a chore to read them all!

It seems histogen seems quite promising, even if their actual release date is quite vague, I've heard everything from 2014 to 2020!!

It seems all good news as (from what I've read) the initial dose was much less than the dose they will plan to actually administer, so even if the results recently weren't amazing the actual concept is proven to work with no side effects (well none that are known yet!)

My only concern is the lack of information we receive. Histogens website isn't update very often, probably because there isn't much to update on. But it just seems we hear a bit of news and then all goes silent for 6, 9, 12 months
