Yeah, except you've got a permanent hairline while hair loss continues behind that hairline, which means you'll have a bit of a problem in the future as long as baldness remains uncured. Sure, it's a quick way to set you up for further treatments, which weren't taken into consideration in these understatements of yours.

Read the original post. He is a NW3, and talking about using all the future treatments, which would maintain what he has with perhaps some regrowth. If those products fully stabalized his hairloss, THEN a small HT would be required for a full head of hair.

Well a HT is a pretty quick fix for an (early) NW3, even if he got it tomorrow, don't you think? From what I read, he sounds like he's already maintaining his hairloss pretty well with Finasteride, so only regrowth from future products would bring him benefit from delaying the HT.

Ya ya man I see what you are saying. To put is simply I dont think anything in the future like histogen will actually give someone back there hairline though. There are NW 2.5+ who have gained a NW using growth factors, but going back to their teen hair, never seen. If you are greedy and want perfect hair you could get work on your hairline after using something like histogen.

    Not entirely true.

It depends for everyone, some men will only lose a portion of their hairline while others will go completely bald. Hair loss isnt the same for everyone. I've developed my grandfather's hairline which is a pretty obvious 'M' pattern, it came in *rapidly* about 6 years ago and has been more or less the same since. Will it progress to a full NW7? I hope not. If its basically slowed down to a stopping point, will I qualify for a touch up now?

And it definitely is possible to go back to a teenage hairline:

Someone else posted that, but that is an incredible result. I'm considering getting Gho + Rahal done... not sure which to get first.....

Ya bro i was saying that WITHOUT a HT it is unlikely to go back to your teenage hairline. Something like histogen can only take you so far, a HT for the frontal area/headline if you want that teenage hairline back lol.

And btw I hate how HT places take before photos with different lighting, background, facial expression of patient lol, it annoys the shit outta me

Its because none of them are professional photographers that understand lights, umbrellas, iso, aperture, shutter speed, focal length, triggers, receivers and the affect the existing lighting in any given room. You'd need all of the exact same variables one day as 6 months later.

I'm fairly certain that they thought 'yeah, we'll take a picture' without knowing how whats actually involved with getting an ACCURATE second photo. It needs to be shot exactly the same way as before.
