Default propecia on temples with minox

    howdy all,

im a norwood 2.5. on propecia and minox 12.5 for last 14 months. hair receded and thining on crown, so hair loss stabilised and was using the minox for the temple area.

is propecia not effective at all for the temple areas??? and is minox the same only effective in the crown area?? there has been some regrowth but very minimal bit like peach fuzz lol

also is there a optimum time of day to take propecia?? i take mine in the mornings and use the minox every evening.

thanks all for your help in advance!!!

    Howdy Partna!

There is no proof that minox and propecia can regrow hair in the temple/hairline but it possible that it could thicken it and prevent any further hair loss.

Propecia can still have an effect. It works in a totally different way than minox does. There is no forfeiting. They say to combine them because they work in different ways for maximum growth.
Unfortunately, no. Since the two products use different processes to regrow hair, hair regrown and maintained by Propecia will fall out if Propecia is stopped. Hair regrown and maintained by minox will also fall out. Propecia will not maintain minox hair or vice versa.
