Yes I also feel better that I have now started treating this thing! There really does appear to be an incentive to get on propecia sooner rather than later given the nature of the drug and mpb. I agree about the price of £30 per month, it isn't bad, my understanding is that this is considerably cheaper than it was a couple of years+ ago. I was interested to read also that the patent of propecia on finasteride does expire at the end of next year, so I would anticipate we could see more generics hitting stores and propecia themselves will need to reduce their prices considerably if they wish to remain competitive. So not a bad time for us to start the drug really!
