I keep bouncing back and forth as to whether or not I need to consult a doctor about my hair loss. I've been shedding lots of hairs over the past six months, and it's freaking me out, mainly because this has never happened before. It has diffused, but it is uneven. Now, the thing is, I am unsure if this is the early onslaught of androgenetic alopecia, or telogen effluvium (I've been under a tremendous amount of stress/ anxiety/ depression/ break-up over this period of time), or perhaps a combination of both, considering the nature of my hair loss is similar in both cases.
