Teenage Hair Loss
I was at a high school today and I noticed three boys who were no more than 16 or 17 years old with advanced MPB, like NW 5 or 6. This was in a 10 minute visit between classes when there weren't even that many kids around. I have heard that girls are getting their periods as young as 8 years old and it is speculated to be related to hormones. I wonder if there could be some effect on hair loss as well. I graduated high school 17 years ago and I honestly can't remember a single guy who was noticeably balding in the 4,000 plus kids in my school. The first friend I noticed with hair loss was in college around age 19. Interesting...
