    Default Am I balding?

    hello there
Iam a 22 Yr old male, just recently graduated med school.
I go fairly thru some stress but I don't believe it's enough to cause such hair loss.
I have noticed that my hair has become thinner and my scalp is easily visible from the front. My scalp is not itchy and I don't believe I have a receding hairline.
I don't have ANY kind of hair fall. I don't lose hair when am showering, or I don't find any on my pillow.
It's just thinning.. I noticed it when am able to see my scalp
I don't take aNY sort of medications and I don't have any chronic illnesses.
I have strong family history as dad was bald since he was 30 yrs old.

You have no before pictures so i am assuming you couldn't see scalp before. Looks like your hair is thinning. I would get on finasteride and see if that slows or stops it until something better comes along.

Unfortunately, I don't have any previous pictures but iam 100% sure I couldn't see my scalp before. My hair was much thicker, I started noticing cuz there's this spot that shows and its very visible.

Is there a certain routine I have to follow?
Can I stop or minimise my hair loss even if its to do with genetics?
Am not ready to lose my hair so please help

In some photos, you look fine. in other photos, you appear to be thining. there is an easy test called hair check or cross-sectional trichometry that will give you a very good idea if you are thining. I'd get it evaluated. it's very simple to do.

Shall I go to a dermatologist to undergo the crosse tonal trichometry?
    Thanks for the response
