    We were all newbies once...

My name is CellarDoor and I've been ripped off by The Belgravia Centre

So I'd been using Regaine foam for around 5 years, seemed to slow the thinning down ok. This year, it stopped working (I'm 31) and so went to Belgravia Centre, knowing nothing of what they provide or the costs. 20 minutes later I walked out with 3 months supply costing £300.
Conveyor belt rip-off and I was given:

Minoxidil 5% + MPG 0.0125% lotion (applied in the AM)
Minoxidil 10% + Azelaic Acid 5% cream (applied in the PM)

Good News - they are working! Getting some re-growth

But I can't afford these prices and have been reading so many threads on topics similar but not quite the same.

There must be a reliable, trust-worthy, online alternative for the above prescription?

I've visited ************ and ******* who both seem to be able to deliver SIMILAR products.

I just don't know the best alternative to Belgravia...help?

(I know it's subjective but there must be 100s of us given the same prescription as above...the middle-aged, tight-dress wearing "specialist" could've been asleep when she gave my prescription!)

That is a rip of price as I use the belgravia and pay much less for the cream, I would ditch the liquid they sold you and just purchase their cream for a years supply.

Your best bet is to speak with my treatment advisor she is decent and I might be able to have a word with her to see if they can price match mine to yours?

There are other alternatives but you need to understand using minoxidil alone for so long will only do certain amount until things start going downhill.

That's great - been trying to figure out how to IM you?! Not getting too far - can you possibly IM me the advisors details?

Roughly what kind of price should I be paying just for the cream?

I would probably buy the 5% lotion online to supplement - just to keep the same regimen going

At least the clinic had you go on some type of fda approved treatment (5% minoxidil). The standard protocol you want to follow that has the greatest chance to stop hairloss and possibly regrow hair is:

        -Finasteride daily (1 mg)
-minoxidil 5% (foam or liquid) twice a day
-nizoral shampoo 2-4 times a week (leave lather on hair 5 minutes)

Try this for a year the. Re-evaluate your results via pictures. If you continue to lose hair you can dabble with dut, custom minox solutions, etc. you can get a years supply of all these meds for fairly cheap if you go the generic route. If you need a source for finasterude in the uk contact spex in this forum and he can help u

        Good luck
