Got some dutasteride....
I've been taking 1mg finasteride on prescription since last September now. At some point, I decided to take 1mg every other day. Partly because of the cost (I'm actually paying like £50 for 28 1mg merc propecia) and partly because I suffer from panic attacks. The anxiety probably wasn't caused by the fin, and it's always there anyway before the meds, but I convinced myself it did. I think I'm mostly over that anyway now and would like to give higher doses a try, but wanted to save money...
I got someone to get me 30 x 0.5mg avidart over the counter from spain. Really I wanted them to get 30 proscar as well, but they didn't manage that (maybe proscar is called something else in spanish, I only knew avodart was avidart because of spex). Really I wish I'd told them to forget about the avidart and just get the proscar, since it would literally be 10 or 20 times cheaper than the prescription propecia i'm currently buying..
Anyway, I was thinking of taking one avidart every 2 weeks and continuing to take my fin every other day. What would you do with it? I wish the avidart were in tablets I could split, instead they are in capsules, do you think I could somehow split them? I'd rather take 0.25mg every week than 0.5mg every 2 weeks...

just heard a doc say that she prescribes "Dut" every thurs and monday for her patients on propecia who have seen diminishing results over the years; 1mg propecia tues, weds, fri, sat, sun and .5mg "Dut" mon and thurs.
she says she sees better results
though she still liver tests due to"Dut" side effects

I also noticed Dutasteride (Avodart) really kick in at two months, thickening hair everywhere. My hair is darker than before too.
