Spray on tan and airbrush post op
Hey Everyone, I just got my first HT (3000 grafts fue) 2 weeks ago and I'm currently dealing with the post op redness on the recipient area. In an effort to hide the redness, I was thinking of getting an airbrush tan. Now I know the sun is a no no but what do you think about the airbrush?
I am assuming the redness could stay for quite a while and I'm quite pale just like some of us. So, at what point can I actually get that tan? 2 weeks? 3 weeks? I'm all ears and if it's doable/ok I think it can help a lot of us with the redness issue don't you think?
Yours truly or maybe.

That is indeed somthing Im considering after my h/t. Im no physician or anything but after 1 week im led to believe the grafts are solid in. So Im gonna be considering it 2 weeks after the op.

IAHRS Recommended Hair Transplant Surgeon
I recommend to my patients to not get any prolonged direct sunlight until the pigmentation in the recipient area has returned to normal. I know they would not want any permanant discoloration. You could cover the transplanted area and spray tan everything else around it. That might make everything blend in a little better.

Cheers Dr Charles. Im just gutted that I get away from grey old England to Florida and won't be able to fully enjoy the sun! Doing me a favour in more ways than 1 i suppose. (hmm, is yours a fake tan or natural.......lol). See you at the end of april, Dean.
