Considering FUE - advice
Hello
Been researching HTs for some time now. I'm 26, been losing frontal hair for the last 4-5 years. About a 3 on the scale. I have decided i definitely want a HT, but have no clue where to go, even after researching.
I went for a consult with Elite Hair Restoration last week and was quoted £6000 for 1500 grafts FUE. I'm quite dubious about them because they changed the location of the consult the morning of my appointment. The sales guy was very knowledgeable and friendly but I couldn't shake the worry (we had the consult in a very nice London hair Salon) I had because of not seeing the actual clinic and no internet reviews of the Company. Does anyone have any experience of them?
Their London doctor is Dr Hassan narein i think (also a source of worry was the mention in my quote that there was another (unnamed) doctor that they may use....).
Can anyone offer some advice as to places to get it done - I think from the consult i had, that i'll only need around 1500 -2000 grafts.
thank you

Forget about getting it done in London and hop on the eurostar to Belgium.
If it were me it would be between Bisanga (BHR) and Feriduni. Consult with both first to see if you are even a candidate for surgery.

Wow Bisongrass,
You just dodged a bullet there. You really should not consider FUE in the UK.
Do some more research before you go for a HT. Not to be disrespectful but for your own sake, you have not done nearly enough research based on your post.
Search on Chrisis FUE results and mine both from Feriduni. Review top docs like Rahal and Feller etc...
Convenience and price are the wrong parameters, life long sustainable high quality hairline results without using your entire donor supply is what you are after. Also consider where you stand on medications, you are still young and will loose more hair.
Wish you best of luck and don't be shy to ask.
Cheers

Hey BisonGrass,
Is your username inspired by the vodka? Love that stuff!
Still Researching was an "email mentor" for me, in both deciding to go for surgery with Dr Feriduni and the recovery after.
I've got a few threads you might want to check out on this bb and elsewhere and I think you'll find the info pretty useful.

Ha, yeah Chris, I love the stuff! Had a good read of all the info you guys linked to, very informative. I never even considered going into Europe for the procedure before posting.
I think I'll try and start up a blog like you did, Chris, to document my progress and stuff. Booking several consultations over the next few days so hopefully should have a clearer picture soon.
My hairline is pretty much the same as Chris' but maybe slightly move thin in the front portion.

A blog would be a great idea. The more experiences provided by real patients the better. There's a real lack of transparency caused by various people who have their own stakes in the industry. The more of us who document what's involved, the better.

By the way, I trust you drink the bison grass with apple juice? It's the only way.
