Angry Getting male pattern baldness At A Very Young Age Sucks...

I was 18 when it started. The progression on the Norwood Scale wasn't that bad at the beginning, but the worsening diffuse thinning made it impossible to style my hair when I reached the age of 22 or 23. Acute and disastrous flare-ups of this disease* occurred when I was 24 and 29 and did cost me about two stages on the Norwood Scale. Right now I am a Norwood 3. Unfortunately (stupidly) I have started treatment very late, when I was 30, because I was scared of Finasteride and Minoxidil side effects and because the cure was always just around the corner *lol* Big 3 definitely stopped further progression and stabilized my hair condition, made it thicker and more robust, but regaining three lost Norwoods is very difficult, probably only possible via hair transplant or some other form of future treatments (stem cell, cloning etc.)

Fact is: Girls in their teens and tweens don't like bald / balding men. They want someone who is athletic, tall and has a full head of (dark) hair. Where I live (Hamburg), the average height for young men is 6 feet 1 inches, whereas I am 5 feet 9 inches. To round it up, I am scrawny. Three disadvantages rolled into one man, that's pretty bad ^^

    * Yes, MPB is a disease, especially at a young age, it takes a toll on the soul and is a constant psychological burden...
