FUE HT vs the traditional line cut
I'm new here.. Been reading on and off.. I keep reading people give Dr. wong a good word. I'm located in Houston TX.. I also see that there is Dr. Arocha who is recommend by this site.. But not to sure of his work.
After reading about the FUE technique i was really interested in it. I didn't know what to do, so i picked up the phone and called Dr. Wong in canada. He was very against the procedure and refused to perform FUE. I really didn't understand why and didn't ask details over the phone.
Can the doctors here or the experienced please share your knowledge why is FUE bad?

Just because a doctor chooses not to perform a certain type of procedure does not mean the procedure is bad. Some physicians feel that the results they are getting are very good and they would prefer to stick to what they are comfortable with. You have to decide with what you want. There are some positives and negatives with both types of procedures. Your expectation need to be realistic in either case. Take your time, due your due diligence and you will most likely be happier in the long run.

Dr. Glenn Charles-- I believe you're one of the handful that do perform FUE..
I understand the results will not be as great as a strip procedure..
1. What are your views on the FUE procedure?
2. Is there a more shock loss from FUE?
3. Other than the no scar on the back of the head, is there any other advantage of FUE. (granted you can extract hair from anywhere on the body)
4. On an Average how many hairs (graphs) are lost during the extraction process. (either the roots aren't straight or doctors hand moved and cut the roots damaging the roots.
Thanks
