Anyway lots of people take it every other day.
I split mine in half and take it instead of a whole one.

My doc prescribes 5 mg Proscar (the medicine used to treat BPH, it's the same medicine as Propecia, just a higher dose) that I buy at my local pharmacy for $9 and I just use a pill cutter to split them into fourths; this lasts me four months. Works out to $2.25/month.

Yes it works as good as 1 mill. Foe me anyway.
I have had slow diffusing on top for about 10 years . I started Propecia cause I was getting a bald spot in back.

& years later it hasn't changed very much.
I still have a decent hairline. That too has thinned but I can live with it.
