M21 Very Early Stage NW 5A or NW6

I'm 21M and knew my hair was receding in the front. But only within the last few months did I realize how thin it was on top. I didn't realize there was treatment available to slow it down and most of my hair is gone. I just got finasteride starting today. I'm wondering if fin + hair transplant will even be able to give me a decent result considering how thin it is. Would I be better off forgetting about HT and just using a hair system?
