Their conclusion after follow ups: "Hair numbers significantly increased after treatment in both male (including those without finasteride administration) and female patients.
They did however follow them up for about 2 years after initial treatment.
do you have a link to the study?

Noob question, but when is this supposed to be available? I read about a doctor in Orange County using stem cells derived from fat, but the results were "eh"

Impressive results! Quote from the study: "RESULTS: Hair numbers were significantly increased after treatment in both male (including those without finasteride administration) and female patients"

Yeah, those results are really impressive and I don't usually let myself get my hopes up over this kind of stuff. I hope doctors start trying this out because prp seems to be a joke.

I'll probably post pics at the 2 month petiod (for t=0, t=1 months, t=2 months). I had my first treatment around 4 weeks ago, my second treatment yesterday, and my third treatment is scheduled for June 17. The doc has been taking some pics of me before each session, so I'll ask him to send me these (though we're not using a thricoscan and I don't think the pics are the best, but they should do)
So far, no side effects, no additional shedding. Treatments are pretty simple, takes 20 mins (by injection). I don't use any topical anaesthesia creams. Pretty much follow the study's protocol in terms of dosage, and we inject my ENTIRE scalp. My doc has been using a 30-G needle, so not too painful. He gave me a few injections in the area of my temples where my hair has receded as well, so it'll be obvious if there's any regrowth at any time. At the end of the treatment, he sprays on a layer of the AAPE all over my scalp, followed my some light microneedling. Head is usually sore for one day.
@ziggyz123 - it's already available. Read up. Just order the damn thing yourself and find any damn doctor to inject it, lol. Don't understand why people are waiting if times are desperate. The box of AAPE (that last for 6 treatments) costs $500 from prostemics. My doc charges me $100 per session, so total cost for 6 sessions is $1,100, which some docs alone charge for one session of PRP lol..

So one month in and no noticeable change in hair quality, shedding etc?

Also sorry if I missed it, but is your doc a hair transplant doc or just your GP or something?

I would also like to know what type of doctor is doing this for you, as I would be on board for trying. Ive contacted some cosmetic places that do micro needling but they don't seem to want to attempt this at all
