Minoxidil eye and face pain + headaches
Hi, Ive been on minoxdil for about 3.5 months and I have been having alot of eye and face pain although no swelling along with headaches. Ive been off Minoxidil for a week and although it is slightly better I still have these side effects. Will they go away with time and if so how long roughly? just worried that that I might have damaged something by taking this drug
thanks jo

Dude, tell this problem to your doctor! It's not normal!

It's definitely not a normal reaction and it shouldn't last that much. But again, it depends on your individual perception of minoxidil. Your doctor should know if this med isn't suitable for your condition. Anyway, if the situation continues to get worse, you should definitely go to the doctor and ask him to treat you. Sometimes they just say "everything's gonna be ok, don't mind it", but don't listen to this BS! Visiting an optician would be a good choice here too. I personally wanted to become one thanks to https://www.exploremedicalcareers.com/optician/ and their article, so I know that having eye pain isn't good in your case. Be careful!

Thnaks Guys, it was while since the post. Yes it definatly wasnt normal but it has been mentioned once on the baldtruth radio show and Ive seen a fairly well known hair youtuber mentioned hes had similar sides. I did get it checked by eye speclists and a dermotolgist but its so rare that they didnt recongise it. Anyway most of it went away 6 month after I stopped minoxdil.
