Default My hair isn't even worth it!

I am at NW2-3 right now and I have a pretty high hairline and thin hair to begin with, and pretty much all the males in my family have lost their hair and I know I probably will too if I don't do anything about it. My problem is that I don't even like my hair normally because it never styles the way I want it to (I've tried using gel and whatnot) and I have an intense cowlick on one side of my bangs which is essential to frame my hairstyle. I want to have hair, but if I did I would only want it to be able to have a buzzcut all the time which sounds kinda messed up. If I did buzz it at this point I would most likely begin using minoxidil and maybe consider Fin. Thoughts?

I just mentioned on another thread that IMO a buzzed NW2-3 looks a hellova lot better than a buzzed NW6. That is the main reason I treat my hair loss at this point, is to postpone going slick. At this point treatments will only do so much for me. Minoxidil is a breeze to apply with buzzed hair, and it is easy to maintain. Every two weeks I break out the clippers, and have my GF clean up the back. Very easy to have a nice clean look.

    totally agree

buzzed with hair stubble even to a "scalp buzz" still frames the face the way a buzz to scalp without stubble doesn't

that's why many guys do FUE to the hairline then buzz just to frame face

because they know they will never get the density needed for their hair type and liking to let it grow full out

With the price of minox and fin, there really is not reason not to treat. What it does is give you options. Before I started treatment, I was a few years away from NW6. Since treatment I have stopped my hair loss and regrew some hair. I am not thinking of a HT now, but if I decide to get one in the future, I will be in much better shape then I would had I not started fin. It is easier to "repair" a NW3/4 then to repair a NW6.
