How much graft does it require to fill my mid-scalp and light coverage of crown
Hi everyone
I'm a 30 y/o asian male who previously had a FUT w/ about 2368 graft to rebuild my hair line and section behind it. The result was very good but I need to also improve on the mid-scalp and hopefully light-moderate coverage of crown if possible. I know donor area is limited so I also want to save enough for far future 10-15 year down the road as hair lose progress.
I was wondering if the knowledgeable people here could give me a 2nd opinion on how many graft I need. I am going back to my surgeon who I trust as he did a really good job. He said I need approx 1700 graft.
All of my pics are when my hair is wet with rogaine, the 1st picture is a little bit of a comb over and angle so is not very noticeable. The others are very noticeable in regards to my mid-scalp and crown. The existing hair is pretty strong and thick I feel as I been on 1mg fin + rogaine 1-2x a day+ LLLT x3 a week + on/off Lipogaine shampoo. I know creating the swirl on my crown is going to cost a lot of graft which I probably don't have and I'm ok with that. However, I do need my mid-scalp and the transition zone to be thicker so I can style my hair properly.

If your surgeon that you trust says 1700 and he has seen you then what we guess would be just that ...a guess.
