Rude comments
Why do people feel it's acceptable to make cutting remarks to young men with MPB? I would never dream of saying to someone " OMG you're so fat"
Men/women seem to think its ok to make comments.

Because majority of America is insecure.

I agree that most are insecure. But some are just mean, nasty people and have more issues than we do. So they say stuff to make themselves look better or feel better.

Maybe because some think they are an open book and expect others to be same or may be simply because they don't have any filter or have poor boundaries.
my simple way to deal with them is not joining a drama club and keeping my dignity intact by not letting rude behavior provoke me into a tantrum of my own. Remember "if you argue with an idiot, there are two idiots"

Not a common habit in every country. In some places I have visited, you could get beaten for such comments.
