What happens to thick beard hair when transplanted to a scalp with thin hair?
I havent been able to find an answer on this: If thick beard hair is transplanted via FUA to a scalp with thin hair, does the beard hair retain it's texture? Or does it adapt to match the scalp hair?

For the most part, yes it will retain it's original texture/thickness. That's why body/beard hair transplants are used sparingly to thicken areas already covered by scalp transplants, and are rarely used as the primary source of grafts.
I am a representative for Dr. Sean Behnam in Los Angeles, CA.
My opinions are my own.
