Receding hairline question?
The problem i have here is i have a good receding hairline and whenever i meet a new person like a girl, i am always thinking about if she is just staring at my highline or highforehead and it drives me crazy because of feeling so insecure. Anyone else go through that and what do you do to just get past it and not feel so insecure ?

Women generally don't care. We like confidence. Be confident with yourself and you should be fine.

Depends on your age. Also depends who you're talking to. A lot of women do care, that's the truth. Take it as you will. A lot don't as well. Some may reject you for it, but you might be better off without them regardless (i.e. shallow, not worth your time, etc, etc.)

How old are you, John? The older you get the fewer the women in your age group will care. Hairloss might reduce the number of girls who are 'available' to you, but it won't completely prevent you from finding a girlfriend - and that includes an attractive one. One that other guys with full heads of hair will envy you for being with. However, coming across as self-conscious and lacking in self-esteem will do a lot of harm to your ability to attract girls. I know it's a vicious circle with one causing the other, but I think it's important to be aware that of these two factors, the negative change in your appearance is not the one which will have the biggest impact on how girls perceive you.

Your hairline is what it is. You wouldn't want to go out with a girl who didn't like you for who you are anyway.
I think most girls don't care, and I think the only people who 'notice' balding are those who are going bald themselves. I mean, I paid no attention to anyone's hair before mine started to thin. Now I eyeball up most guys hair.
If a girl doesn't like you for your hair then its no loss to you, because she probably was a shallow girl anyway.
So within a few seconds of meeting a girl she'll see your hairline and if she's 'frightened' off by it then she'll politely make her excuses and leave if she is still talking to you after a minute or so....you're in!

You know this is true. I never really noticed just how many women outside of my own family are losing their hair until I started treating my own hair loss. Now that I know what I am looking at I can spot it pretty easily. Sadly female pattern baldness is far more common than people realize.

I never cared about another guys hair or lack thereof until mine started going either.
It makes sense women would do the same thing. Unless its obvious I wouldn't even begin to know what to look for on a woman.

Don't even worry about it. There will be girls who will like you regardless of your hairline.

I know guys who are bald and shave their heads and they get some pretty hot girls. It's all about confidence like Tracy said.

it's not about the girls, it's about the lack of hair....
