Why can't we just use beard/chest hair for buzzed look?
Instead of doing SMP, just transplant beard and chest hairs to your head. In this way, you won't have that depleted donor look, if you are only interested in having a buzz cut.

ive never understood this either.
for some reason, these hairs dont seem to survive the procedure at the same rates as normal hair. And there is the scarring issue at the donor sites.
ive held off on getting electrolysis done to remove my unwanted bodyhair - neckbeard, back, hand - just in case these can be used in future for transplantation.

Perhaps Pilofocus could use body hair?

i believe spencer suggested this when he unveiled the whole pilofocus idea on his broadcast. I remember Joe becoming particularly excited at the prospect because he is self described as very hairy

I think it could be done, but it's often hard for sufferers to think out of the box. That's why new techniques like SMP received so much hostility.

I think we can also use crotch and butt hair.
