Default Getting on point with temple points

My hairloss history began approx 8 months ago when i first noticed one of my temple points thinning, i had some stubble in the region but was is left now is all fussy thin hair.
I started Finasteride/ketokenazol 4 months later and have at this moment been on Fin/Keto for 4 months.
My other temple point is also starting to fade. I tried minoxidil (foam) for 2-3 days but had terrible headaches so i decided to stay on fin/Keto to rule out if this would be benificial to me before adding minox.

    So my question is:

Anyone with experience on temple points during fin? Did you shed and later managed to regrow/thicken?

I understand 4 months is not enough.
But am i a fool for not adding minox as early as possible?

    28M.

This is a update with photos from the start of summer of 2016 until now.
Taken finasteride since 5th december 2016, together with ketokonazol schampoo twice weekly.
What made me start out with fin was minor recession in the hairline together with that my temple points was depleted, they are now both gone, they look much better in the photos, irl they are non existent.
I feel that my whole top has thinned out alot and my crown is jacked up, the crown was never a problem from the start.
Front forelock is all thin hair and my hairline is miniturizing fast and no prrof it would stop.
Hairline have receded ~1 inch on both sides.
Libido has been high since day one, j#erking off is a daily thing but i will also speculate this is a result of being depressed and using this to cope and reduce stress levels, it all turns into a bad circle. Face and scalp has definetily been oliy but i have always had problems with acne.
No pain or discomfort in the lower regions. My guess is ive been upregulated and im f#cked.

It doesn't look bad to me at all. Comparing the pictures I can see a little difference, but if I saw you walking down the street today I wouldn't even think your hair is thinning. Plus your hair style does a great job of hiding what small changes there have been anyway. Of course I'm only looking at pictures, but I don't think there's much reason to be stressing out, it still looks good.

    Thank you for the reply

The thickness overall have without a doubt declined since i started Finasteride 13 months ago especially in the front 1/3.
I can also add that i have had an itch all over my scalp since i started with ketokenazol in the start of 2016, the itch had been all over the head worst in the temples, forelock and crown. But last month i have been busy traveling and skipped using ketokenazol regualry since about 2-3 weeks and the itch is now much better, is it possible ive had a bad reaction and had a reverse effect? Or could it be that it is just now i would be able to benefit from the Finasteride? As to say im a slow responder?

Would it be a good idea teaming up with minoxidil at this point ?

I think Finasteride + Minoxidil is the most effective combination. They work slightly differently, and your problem sounds like it's primarily to do with thinness. Minoxidil works well at making existing hair look thicker which would probably work well for the issues you are describing. so I think it'd be beneficial. And if stopping the shampoo hasn't had any noticeable effect on your hair after a month, I'd say it's safe to just stop using it altogether. But continuing to use it wouldn't hurt.
