Scar excision by Dr. Lindsey McLean VA
This fellow had a small strip at a nearby clinic a few years ago. He has chosen to shave his head and desired scar revision. We discussed FUE into this scar, but he wanted to try excision first.
Shown are preop, intraop, and day 8 pictures. He is back to shaving his head now, and hopefully his strenous workout routine will not widen out "my" scar. We closed him with extra long lasting deep sutures in a total of 3 layers...
Nevertheless, he may need a small number of FUE's into this next year. Time will tell. But I am hopeful that we have made a big change in his scar's noticability.
