As the title says...Would a finasteride pill dissolve in minoxidil without crushing it first?

And what happens if you put a 5mg pill of finasteride inside of a 60ml bottle of Rogaine minoxidil? Would that be overdosing on finasteride?

I will respond. That is madness. Sheer madness. And you would be wasting your pills with such an experiment. Having some knowledge of pharmacology you are attempt to combine two completely different delivery vehicles and hope that they will work together with compatible results. The pill even crushed is a digestive vehicle whether you add it to a topical solution or not it will not operate on that level because it must interact with the bloodstream internally over time. The two vehicles of delivery even have different chemical half lives (how long they will last as per the delivery) so Finasteride works over a period of several hours 8 hours or so internally whereas Minoxidil as a topical has a half life of 4.2 hours. With that logic crushing an aspirin and making it soluble in some solution to make it a topical does not mean you have a new mixture of a topical solution for relieving headaches.
