    Rogaine vs Generic Minoxidil

Is Rogaine better? Does the generic stuff work as well?

Kirkland is just as good - im not a minox fan myself, for me it just sped up the hair loss process and grew some invisible vellus hairs.

As long as the active ingredient is Minoxidil it should work just as well as the name brand Rogaine. The same limitations also applies to the generic as the name brand. This medication is intended for treating MPB and FPB. If you are a male and intending to use this medication on your hair line, first make sure that you actually have MPB and not just the natural and normal adult mature male hairline. If you are female it does not matter. This limitation only applies to males.

Does anyone else hate when people say "if you are a male or a female". It's like they're talking about monkeys or some other animal. Why not just say, if you are a man or a woman?

Sorry, I've worked in research for the majority of my life and that's just how researchers talk. It rubs off on you.
