Dr. Lindsey 4.5 month checkup on repair of automated FUE sparse hairline with strip

This younger guy came in 18 months out from an automated FUE done elsewhere. Look closely and both in the strip I excised and his scalp before we harvested the strip, and you'll see that some of the FUE sites were grouped so closely together it looks like a strip scar.

And he definitely had growth up front...just not enough.

We did a 1300 graft strip case with PRFM and he popped in unexpectedly this week. Already he's looking a little better than the start and Next Feb his hairline ought to be great. Going for him is he grows well. Going against is his fine asian hair and color contrast between skin and hair.

Note that in the "end of case" pic there are gaps that don't have grafts. That is where he already had decent hair and no new hair was placed there. Thus these cases often don't look as densely packed postop as virgin heads.

Only AFTER seeing his preop pics did he realize he's starting to grow....now he's excited-several months earlier than I usually get excited in redo cases...and we'll get final pics in 2017.

I'm not sure why but the last pic in the line up is preop.
