I'm going to buy tons of shares of RepliCel because I believe their price per share will increase dramatically when this comes out. ~$9 now. By 2020, I envision it to skyrocket.
We will have a better idea of their trials and thoughts by the end of the month with their many presentations in the coming weeks.Comment

I just emailed Replicel about their trial sign-up since it's been on their site for so long. I live in Germany so I am very interested naturally.
Their answer: they have not started phase II trials yet because of "manufacturing issues" and thus could not submit to the PEI (Paul-Erich-Institut). They hope to file with them this year and only after that will they inform candidates from their database.
Smells like good old German bureaucracy if you ask me.Comment

They said 2018 they plan to start commercializing. I hope you can get the biopsy done in the states and have it shipped to japan or it could get expensive quickComment

Dr. Janet Rossant, SickKids Research Institute, sits down with CCRM and shares her views on the current trends in regenerative medicine and how the potential for…
The part which i like most:
Shiseido is currently preparing to launch an RCH-01 clinical research study for the treatment of pattern baldness under the supervision of key clinical opinion leaders of hair research in Japan.”
Maybe these leaders of hair research will realise how to make this treatment much more successful and better.Comment

Biotechnology can be daunting to comprehend, but understanding is critical to successful investment. BioWatch News Founder Alan Leong's goal is to make technology platforms clear and enable safer, more profitable investing.
AL: I like RepliCel's approach. If you look at the whole regenerative field, you will find research using adipose (fat) cells or generic stem cells that can be injected into patients. Sometimes these methods get good results. But what I'm looking for are technologies that are particularly made for addressing the market, and that will have decent COGS. When we did our initial due diligence on this company, I was surprised by the great comments from scientists about the people associated with RepliCel. The process looks rational. If you look at the two technologies—RCH-01 and RCT-01—they aren't stem cells in the classical sense, but they are uniquely suited for their indications.Comment

I emailed Shiseido asking when they are starting their trial and when they plan to release the product and here's their response:
"Thanks for contacting us. Regarding your inquiry, we are planning to start commercializing the project that related to safe and effective hair regenerative medicine for those who suffer from alopecia and thinning hair, in 2018. That is all we're able to tell you about this project now. Thank you very much for your interest."
I'm hoping this is the current status. It wasn't very long ago that I had emailed them, probably a month or two ago. However, I hope this email was written that day and this isn't just a canned response written a long time ago that they send to everyone that inquires about it.Comment
